Hello all, I tried searching for the answer to my question, but came up short... My question - does anyone know if ASM is planning on pushing out an update that will allow us to create a server using the new, official Fjordur map when it releases tomorrow morning at 10am Pacific Time? I'm planning on playing with a buddy on the new map and I'm trying to figure out a realistic time we'll be able to start. Thanks for any insights!  |

Same, or what would be needed to run a server with the official release vs the workshop one if ASM is not releasing a update right away.

Hmm I just typed in Fjordur in Map Name box, and It seems to be connected to steam downloading SOMETHING LOL. But the Community Crunch 319 that just came out said that the map name to type is Fjordur so I'm assuming this is gonna work.

I did the same. It all downloaded but the server won't start. Just waiting for an ASM update possibly.

On my desktop client the game folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods is called FjordurOfficial I would think that is what ASM would need to point at. Also the server has yet to actually pull the Fjordur update down with repeated updates. I tried copying over the folder but the server starts in 6.9 seconds so defiantly not working. My server version is showing as 346.11.

You're all geniuses! I didn't think to type in the name in the map section (I was waiting for the ASM update to add it in the drop down selection). It appears to be downloading from Steam and working. I'm at 14% download now. Thanks again!!

I can confirm that it works! In AMM, under the Administration section, find "Map Name or Map Mod Path" and manually type in "Fjordur". When you click "Install", it will find the necessary files on Steam and you can run the new map. Thanks again to the users above for the insights to type in the map name manually - much appreciated!! |

Im hopping that it works. I was worried about using Fjordur because that was the unofficial map from before and thought that it would download that one. |

I ended up having to provide the full mod path to get the server to launch..
So if your still having issues getting you server to go past Initializing to Running try using this as the map name.
/Game/mods/FjordurOfficial/Fjordur

Which, Thank you ASM folks for all your hard work in this product. Edit: I will say that adding the map name of either Fjordur or FjordurOfficial made it look like the server was updating with game files for the map, but server start time takes all of 5 seconds. No server take only 5 seconds. Plus I get the "invalid authentication token" error message when trying to connect. Before folks try and tell me how to fix that error and such, all my other servers work just fine. when I built this new server I copied the setting from other one that works just fine. I think its just because the actual map has not installed for Fjordur yet. I am in no rush, I still have to kill that Alpha Monkey anyways. |

Yes, I noticed that as well. Kind of tell me that the map did not install as one would think.
