Before the actual thread starts, I'll mention that while writing this, the question came to me of whether or not I need the ARK game itself installed on the machine I'm trying to run the server on. A silly question, I know, but I just want to make sure that something that simple isn't causing me massive problems. Now, on with the actual thread! I got my server up and running, but I can't seem to connect to it, either through steam, or ping check it with a server testing website, such as canyouseeme. I have port forwarded ports 7777, 27015, and I tried 7778 as well at some point, but nothing I do will make the server show up, even on LAN. I do have my ports forwarded on a static IP, and I did use my public IP to add it on the steam server list, as well as the ping checker. When I run the server, it says that it is Running, and Available. When I was looking through the forums for some answers, I only saw issues when it was Running and Waiting for Publication. I assume this means I have messed something up, but I'm not entirely sure. The weirdest thing I noticed is that when I added the server through steam, I noticed that while the server was "running" steam said the server was "not responding" I have Verified the files of the server manager already, and ran the server again, but that didn't fix anything. As I'm thinking about this, I just thought of a problem that might be the issue (but you'll have already read that since it'll be at the top). This is all the information I can think of now that is relevant. I'll respond with updated information as I think of it, or it is requested of me.

Did you ever figure this out? I have been having the same issue? I came across this issue though when I was trying to setup a cluster and I have not figured out a solution as to why this is not working.
