Hello people I actually pay For Nitrado hosting but I want to have my own server, I been reading some of the topics you have here but I can’t find anything that talk about the requirements of the pc or server in order to host the game.

I have two other friend that we play Ark all the time, I want to host the game for me and for they and also have all the maps. Please if anyone can send me a recommendation of what server to buy I will appreciate it.

Ark Dedicated servers need 1-2 processor cores and 6gb RAM per map. Faster clock speeds help but there are many successful servers running on processors running as low as 2.2Ghz. Ark Dedicated will never use more than 2-cores so having additional cores will provide no benefit. I believe there are 9 officially released maps so that would require 9-18 cores and 54Gb of RAM any machine with those specs should run a dedicated server with no issues.
