I have been researching this for more than a week and It appears that I am the only person with this problem. Which usually means that I am wrong and the rest of the world or worlds are correct. I run my own server with ASM. I have several servers at least one for each world. I only run one of them at a time with different characters, but I've made changes (clusters) to be able to run them at the same time if I so desired. When I go to any Obelisk I don't see what I have seen on all the videos that so many helpful players have made. Check out the attachment please. I DON'T HAVE A "TRANSMIT ARK DATA" Button. It appears that I can personally go to another server, but not sure I can take any equipped items. There is a button that I can press that show any dino I have with me within the circle but with no "TRANSMIT ARK DATA" i can't even begin to do what you all seem to find so easy. So jealous! So I assumed that t was a server issue but when I play a solo game on steams servers the same UI is offered up. So I'm confused. No one seems to even respond to my post. Heck I'd like it if someone would even comment about how sad this is.
So my conclusion is that I have not implemented that ability in either my solo games nor on my server nor in Steam. My eyes are not all that good but for the life of me I can't find an option in either game. And for the life of my survivor, please give me directions on how to click the appropriate check box, and where to find it.

You have 3 tabs at the top - ark data, creature, tribute.

yes ark data tries to show me what data i have already uploaded, creatures will show me the dinos I have with me and the ones I have uploaded and tribute which is tribute but I have no button upper left "transmit ark data". every video I've watched the player hits that 1st and that opens the ability to save data both supplies and dinos and then you can transmit or save. I don't have that button and pushing the others offer no additional choices??

Show me a screen shot of what your talking about. You don't have to actually transmit it. Just put it in there and swap servers and its just sitting there in the other server.

I did post a screen shot just above your 1st response. All the videos and demonstrations show a "transmit data" button that allows for putting things in. I don't have that button and drag and drop does not function so how do you "just put it in"? I'll get a screen shot of (its at the bottom) the way it should be. But here is an excerpt I did find quote "you open the "transmit ark data" there's an inventory with a title "add items to the ark", this inventory is separate from the one you see for summoning the broodmother " end quote. Then when you click on the button it opens up more options:
As you can see by the screen shot shows. Now I can "put it in".

I'm guessing, based on your initial screenshot, you don't have the clusters setup properly.

That looks fine. Wonder why several other help minded people didn't clue me in. Maybe they thought given time I'd figure it out. I so appreciate your taking time to help me. What I thought I did was to set up eacch server the same. I chose to get away from the game password and white listed three people. They have not played for some time. So I do question if all is well. My server is stable except for it sometimes takes a while to be found after a big update. I assume that is lag from everyone trying to get going again. Not sure when it started but even though I can find my game and add it to favorites it just does not want to show up on in game. Usually a few hours later it works fine. My only concern is that even as we play on the server it stubbornly keeps saying "waiting for publication. " I installed a new modem/router and its different in many ways. I set up different ports for each server so that i can run two if I want. My LAN won't work anymore. Not tried very hard. Don't play that way much anymore. NAT is on and LAN switching is set on auto and shows Active and that is all I know to check. I use ark commander and it needs an admin password but I didn't think that would create a problem. I've attached support.zip for just two servers. Probably won't go back to the others. Thanks and let me know your thoughts.

First, yes, you cannot have a password on your server and have it setup for Cross ARK transfer. If you want "security" on your server the only way to do that is to do what you've done...white list the people you want. Regarding your servers themselves, I believe I know what your issue is. It's your server versions. You have the clustering setup, but your TheCenter map is running ARK version 258.45 while your Ragnarok server is running ARK server 262.12. You need to update TheCenter to, at the very least, version 262.0. As far as the "waiting for publication", well that typically shows up due to improper port-forwarding. If you could post screenshots of your router's port-forward page I'd be able to determine if they are setup properly. Another thing to check is the Windows Firewall and, if you have it, a 3rd party firewall. Make sure the exceptions for ARK are in those.

I haven't actually gotten on the TheCenter for some time, but I'll update it now. Looking this over I did get another thought. In the past when everything worked fine and my grand-kids could join me using my external IP, I used the same ports for every server. When I began to research clustering and moving between servers I gave each server a different query port. Have not got around to all of them to change all the server ports. Not using all of them. Not sure why I would ever need to use two servers at the same time. My router/modem won't let me name the port services the same so I've misspelled some of them to keep them organized. I have reserved an internal IP address that I use with all of them. Maybe I need to have a different internal IP address for each server that I might run at the same time. Let me know. You are clearing up so many things. Update again to day so my server will not show up in game. I will just have to wait I guess. I have been using raw sockets up til now and I just wondered if that might be why after a update I can't get on for awhile. Again I can query my server and find it and add it to favorites, but then in game it won't show up for awhile. I use a probram "simple port tester" and it helped me when I changed to this new modem/router.

View AttachmentIn order to run multiple servers at the same time you need different Network and Query ports. They cannot be the same. And, for simplicity, in order to run clustered servers, you need to run them from the same machine. Based on that, when you setup port-forwarding you should point all of them to the same internal IP address. And, when port-forwarding it is always a good practice to only open the ports that are necessary. For your TheCenter server, only open ports 7777, 7778, and 27015. For your Ragnarok server, only open ports 7877, 7878, and 27055. For the record, and sanity, I find it easier to place a single entry for each port and label them accordingly; i.e. Center Net Port, Center Query Port, etc. Regarding Raw Sockets, it is supposed to make it easier to join a server because it provides an additional port for people to use, however, some people find that it can cause issues. So you might want to consider turning it off. Personally, I've found it easier to find my servers with it on. The mystery of servers showing publicly has been an issue since day one. Is it bad coding by Studio Wildcard? Maybe. I honestly do not know why it happens and this seems to be the only game that has this issue. Make the suggested changes and let me know the outcome. First remember to get TheCenter updated so you can use it for cross-ark transfer.
