Unsubscribe from all mods and try again; if that doesn't work delete the mod folders and try again.

ASM has gotten a lot better at keeping up with the mod updates so even though I did at times have to delete the game mod folder and then restart the game to force a new download of the modes, but I haven't need that for some time. ASM has done an awesome job at indicating at startup (a little notice center top of the form) how your modes check out. I still check mine with the "view mods details" button each time anyway. So we used to blame mods some time ago, but now I'm not sure. I believe it is because of the hundreds of servers trying to re post their presence in the various lists. It usually takes a day or more and then with no alterations on my part, my server responds to the query as a game found AND WILL SHOW UP IN FAVORITES when I add it to favorites. Some time it works after shutting down my game and server and Steam and restarting my PC.

ASM and seeing your server...ASM has nothing to do with whether nor not your server shows up in the ARK server lists, or any list for that matter. All of that is determined by ARK, your port forwarding, and if your mods are up-to-date (referenced by altissimus...good point!). The only thing ASM does is take the options, made available by Studio Wildcard for ARK, and presents them in a nice UI format that is more understandable than batch files. It is nothing more than an aide to server managing. Now there has been an issue, since day one, with ARK sometimes just not showing up in the server lists. Is this bad code by Studio Wildcard? It is possible. Could it be something else entirely? Absolutely, but what I don't know. What I do know is that you'll find hundreds, maybe even thousands, of posts on forums across the Internet by people who have experienced this exact issue since ARK's initial EA release; both using and not using ASM. ASM and mod updating...The mods are updated using SteamCMD not ASM. If your mods don't update, there are other factors at fault. It could be the server you're trying to get updates from is overburdened, or you're bandwidth isn't that reliable. When I refer to bandwidth in this context I'm not talking about it's speed, I'm referring to it's quality. Furthermore, to add to the quality aspect, are you running your server on a laptop/desktop and connected via WiFi...not a good choice. And yes, you can still (somewhat) blame the mods for not updating, due to their large size. The reason your mods don't update properly is due to the fact that they timeout when downloading. Their packet's are assigned a Time-To-Live (TTL) value by SteamCMD. When the packets TTL has expired SteamCMD will discard it. Then, when ARK reads the mod information it knows that the mod "isn't all there" thus causing your server to not be seen or start. So, to fix this, you'll have to re-download those mods again, maybe even a few more times, until you get all of the necessary packets. Another reason your server might not show up is because your LAN and/or WAN(ISP) IP address changed. A majority of the people who host their own servers at home do not have a static (unchanging) WAN(ISP) IP address. Why? It costs more money to have one and people usually don't want to pay for it. You can, however, assign a static IP to your server because you control the IP addresses at your home. So, when you restart your server and it comes back online, ASM has noted the change in IP and can publicly display your server. To fix that in the future you don't need to restart everything, simply click on the refresh button, while your server is stopped, next to the My Public IP: box and next to the Local IP: box. Adding to the LAN IP solution, a majority of the users that have the option in the box set to Let Ark Choose experience this issue as well. I stated a majority. We have had reports of people who have successfully run a server with that option enabled. It is not recommended! I hope I've enlightened you.
