Set cluster id and use new cluster directory override check box
Out dated option changes from symlink to cluster directory override
in the video it shows the servers installed in same location this was a test video and i assure you my working cross server transfer are on two servers on two separate install location..
Some Lan users Reported servers cant be seen to join Blame wildcard as its the way it searches for public clusters if you can join your server without lan this will work for you but if you are forced to join lan sadly it will only work for your user outside of your network .
Outdated added to ASM
Better way with all options for each server

Add this to additional args line on each server you want to transfer from
-NoTransferFromFiltering -clusterid=mycluster123<--- make unique
.
then save asm now start your main once let it run to create the cluster folder you may need join your server run to a Obelisk and open up the cluster option .
Once done stop the server and create symlink to other directories of where you want to transfer back and forth from.
Symlinking servers on other locations around the world will work as well if you use dropbox or google drive and symlink the cluster folder to the dropbox/drive then on the other location create another symlink from dropbox/drive to the save location. remember all servers must have the same cluster id
You can do it the old fashion way Read more along with a Extension that will help you www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/
