I did some extensive troubleshooting on a problem I was having when I bought a new server for Ark. I have a work around in place.
The Setup: Single Ark Server profile on ASM Server running Win 2019 4 x 1Gbps Nic interfaces teamed into 1 x 4Gbps interface Ports forwarded, Firewall rules updated and setup. 4 x Win 10 + 1 x Win 7 clients. Gigabit Network
The Problem: I created a LAN server for us to enjoy locally. When I log into join portal and choose LAN the game would crash. This happened from any of the local computers trying to join. Online servers and single player worked fine with no issues. Only when opening LAN page
Fixing Attempts Made: Removed all mods. Recreated server in multiple ways. Deleting of game folders on both client and server. Doing all the Ark game fixes recommend by various internet pages. Disabling firewalls. Really too many to remember or mention.
Solution: By removing 1 nic interface from the teaming and dedicating that 1 nic to Ark on ASM resolved the client crashing.
Question/Help Needed. Due to only the 1 network nic running for the server it causes a bottleneck for traffic to my server and we getting some lagg spikes after long time and big builds on the server. Is there a way I can configure ASM to work with the nic teaming in order to improve bandwidth to the server?
