I have used ASM in the past but mainly for testing configs and just general knowledge of config files and how they work.
I am in the mindset of moving all my servers, currently hosted online, to my home. I will be building a computer that I think can handle a decent sized cluster and run efficiently. I think I have a pretty good understanding of RAM and CPU requirements, but I am toying with ideas on disks for the servers.
I am pretty confident that I want to set them up so that each server has its own SSD. Something like a 250 or 500GB drive each is a pretty cheap solution these days. But then I wonder if an array in a RAID configuration then partitioned would be as good, better, or worse.
Open to all thoughts on this and any pointers anyone may have.
Cheers!

I think you may need a public IP or port forward assistance from your ISP. A NAT loopback capable router is also needed.
So that crossArk travelling within LAN would be possible.
If you have none of above, you may resort to some complicated and tricky methods to enable that feature within LAN.
