Hello, just wondering if it's possible to use this program offline?
I normally have internet, but I won't for about a week (other than my phone, which doesn't have a hotspot). I've been using this program successfully with internet, but I'd still like to have access to my worlds without manually porting everything to single player just to play for a week.
I feel like there is a way to do it, but I'm not familiar enough with networking to figure it out. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Edit: I can't find the "Reply" function on this forum so I'm editing the main post.
An update so far on my progress:
1. Disabling battle eye and disabling valve anti-cheat system (because I would guess that both require an internet connection) in ASM. 2. Navigating to ARK Install directory (for me that's D:\Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ShooterGame.exe) right click, create a desktop shortcut. 3. Right click the desktop shortcut, under "Target" add (default path) -noBattleEye +connect IP:7777 +password "serverpassword" (So my "Target" section looks like this: D:\Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ShooterGame.exe -noBattleEye +connect IP:7777 +password "serverpassword" 4. Apply and OK.
Instead of other previous issues, the game starts loading but then I get a LowLevelFatalError trying to join. (This is the closest I've gotten so far)
Because we need to answer NEW questions. Asking questions that have already been answered takes time away from developing ASM into the best server manager possible.
