I've been playing the island for over a year now on LAN only, serving on a windows 7 computer and playing on another with windows 10 with very few issues other then mod issues. For some reason yesterday I am now getting "Waiting for publication". The public Ip nor local Ip have changed and I've refreshed them several times, rebooted my router / modem and computers. I have not made any changes to any settings since starting the game. Windows firewall on both machines are disabled and are not running any anti-virus.
I am not any tech savvy kid, I'm just an old man trying to play a video game so if you need more information please help me help you and as always your help would be greatly appreciated, this game is very addictive and I would hate to start all over again. I was ready to go against the dragon boss.
Well seems with a little playing around and a lot of luck it is possible to fix your own problems. I figured since I couldn't get it to work that I would just clean ark up a bit like I normally do by now ....... clean up mods folders and old ark saves on both computers and defrag the drive and poof it fixed them problem. Not really sure what mods have to do with connections but hey ........ I ain't complaining. Mods must really do a job on Ark.
