Yesterday ark and some of the mods I use got an update. After stopping my server and hitting the upgrade/validate button, I tried to restart it, but I keep getting a fatal error. I've attached below the support zip and the crash dump file from the server files (I couldn't find the latter in the support zip, sorry if it is a duplicate.) Also, I don't know if this is an ASM problem, so sorry again if this thread should have been in non ASM tech support.
Originally I was having problems with Ark Additions failing to update. I resolved this by disabling the "output steamCMD to progress window" setting. This morning when trolling log files I also found that Structures+ was missing an engram file that wouldn't download, but I resolved that by deleting the mod and reinstalling it. Other than that, no. The server validates just fine and it starts up without warning me that a mod is out of date.
Thank you for your help. However, I managed to fix it in a round about way. I created a new profile in ASM with all of the same settings and installed it. Next I copied in the all of the folders inside shootergame/Saved (except shootergame/saved/Config) from the old server into the new one. Everything went smoothly other than I had to delete to most recent .ark file and use one of the .ark files from before any of the updates.
I still have all of my structures (with the exception of the hatchery, animal tenderer, and item collector - but these were removed in the S+ update). All of my players have reported everything is going smoothly on all the servers in the cluster.
Interestingly, I had one server in my cluster that only had a few structures and none of the removed s+ items, and it never had a problem.
I would appreciate it if you could pass on my success to anyone in the discord who has the same problem.
